1.  Do all finishers receive a medal?

Yes, all finishers will receive a finisher's medal


2.  What is the course like?  Are there hills?  What is the course elevation?

The course is scenic, but challenging.  However, it is suitable for all levels including beginners.  There is a beginner group training on the course currently with no difficulty.  We do suggest that you include hills in your training.

3.  What kind of food will be at the end?

We will have bagels, fruit, and Jr. subs waiting at the end for participants.

4.  Will there be a sports drink as well as water on the course?

Yes.

5.  How many water stops will there be?

We will have 9 water stops, one every 2 miles for the first half of the course, and one every mile thereafter.

6.  Will there be any food stops?

Yes, there will be one food station, and 1 E-Gel station.


8.  Is the course certified?

Yes, USATF Certification No. NC-07023-PH.

9.  Where does my registration money go?

Proceeds from this race will benefit local charities.

11.  How can I get involved with the Charity Chase, even if I am not a runner?

Walkers are welcome to register and walk the course the day of Half Marathon.  We are also looking for groups and/or individuals to help man the water stops, food station, and E-Gel station the day of the event.  To get involved contact:
