Volunteer Opportunties

We will once again need volunteers the day of the race on May 31, 2008.  Come out and be a part of one of coolest events to come to Hickory, the Charity Chase Half Marathon to benefit local charities!

We will need volunteers to help with the following:

• water stations - keep the runners hydrated and cheer them on along the course!
• food stations - help the participants replenish lost nutrients after the race
• registration - help pass out tshirts and registration packets
• course directors - encourage runners and help them stay on track
• set up/clean up

We will need over 100 people to put on a great event.

All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.

Group Fund Raising Opportunties

The Charity Chase is designed to give back money to our local community.  Proceeds from the race will be divided among local non-profits who provide at least 10 volunteers to work shifts on the day of the race.  Groups must pre-register to be considered as a beneficiary to receive funds.
