The Half Marathon Course

The course is a 13.1 mile course that will take runners and walkers throughout Hickory, beginning downtown in Union Square, continuing on down by our lakeside, then on through Bud Geitner Park, heading through the Lenoir Rhyne campus and continuing past Hickory High School into Viewmont, finally finishing back downtown at Union Square.

0. Start:  Downtown-Union Square 

0. Right onto 4^th St. Dr. NW

0. Left on 13th Ave. Pl. NW

0. Right on 4^th St. NW

0. Left on 16th Ave. NW (in front of Corinth Church)

0. Right on 5^th St. NW (middle of that 90 degree turn-go into that neighborhood)

0. Right on 18^th Ave. Ln. NW

0.  Left on 4th St. Pl. NW and circle around and out of neighborhood
   

0. Right onto 6th St. NW-turns into 21st Ave. NW (by the lake)

0. Right into Geitner Park and then left onto bike route

0. Old Lenoir RdExit onto 12th St. Dr. NW and Follow onto Old Lenoir Rd.

0. Right on 9^th St. NW

0.  Left on Main Ave NW and back through downtown

0.  Continue straight to L-R (turns into Main Ave NE)

0. Left on 7th Ave. NE (St. Andrew’s Lutheran)

0.  Right on Stasavich Pl. NE (in front of Lenoir-Rhyne College gym)

0. Left on 5th St. NE (in front of L-R baseball field)

0. Right on 5^th St. NE

0. Left on 14th Ave. NE

0. Left on 3rd St. NE (Hickory High)

0. Right on 13th Ave. NE and cross 127 (2nd St. NE)
   

0. Left on 4^th St. Dr. NW

0. Left on Main Ave NW and finish back on Union Square
